Um es vorweg zu sagen : die -Kolophonia- ist gut geeignet für Klassik-Freunde, die sich mal an die elektronische Musik herantasten wollen, oder eben für die EM´ler, die sich bisher mit Klassik nicht so anfreunden konnten. Und solch einer bin ich nämlich. Gut, mit klassischer Musik hab´ich echt nichts am Hut, aber wenn EM einen Hauch von Klassik bekommt, kann es durchaus interessant sein.

-Kolophonia- ist eine Hommage an die so geliebten Streichinstrumente von Walter Roos. Wie dies für Streichinstrumente auch üblich ist, hinterlässt die Musik einen sehr melancholischen und schwermütigen Eindruck. Die Ruhe in der Musik legt sich noch zusätzlich auf´s Gemüt …. aber es ist und bleibt sehr interessant.
Mit Recht kann man hier sagen : es ist wirklich mal was anderes an elektronischer Musik! Und daher wundert es mich auch nicht, dass ausgerechnet Walter Roos sich an dieses Thema hergemacht hat. Walter hat eine vielzahl an Downloadalben in letzter Zeit herausgebracht, thematisch immer wieder was neues geboten und was noch besser ist : immer wieder meinen Geschmack getroffen!
Gut, die -Kolophonia- gehört nicht unbedingt zu meinen Favoriten, aber sie verdient meinen Respekt und weckt das Interesse auf Neues. Neues, wo ich mich mit ein wenig Toleranz in ungewohnte Gefilde begebe. "
